Newbie - lost 5 of 6 chickens!

Thanks for the thoughts. Double checked and all pine shavings. The one is still doing fine and the 5 i gave to BIL are all fine, he is actually wanting to give them to me since he has others and doesn't want to take the chance on the rest of his flock. I'm supposed to call the guy who sold them to me this week - he is willing to give me the remaing few of the same kind or a couple different kinds he had...I think I am going to get he 5 from BIL and see how they all do in my setup for a while. Old farm ground we built the home and barn and have owned for 6 years.
