Newbie need advice!! coop construction

I was wondering about the nice coop - seems like there is a lot of pirating of pictures on CL

We do have a drill, we did have a dremel but I broke it (waiting for the repair...) and some other simple tools, but I imagine a 12 pack leading to one of those "Hey you guys, watch this!!!" moments...and blood to follow

I think part of my problem is I envision an awesome gypsy wagon that's painted to match our house, and that's not going to happen!! I definitely need the feedback to judge that the simple run/tractor is overpriced (there's NOTHING on our CL that's not apparently) and seems we need to hunker down and find someone who can do it for us....

Another thought for a simple coop or tractor is to hire a high school shop student--even if you had someone build the frame for #4, could you manage to attach hardware cloth with a staple gun?

Along this line of thought. If you are in no hurry, speak to a local school that has a shop class. Sometimes they will build things like this for a class assignment and it will only cost you the material. It may take an entire quarter of school to finish it, but you can get it done for a good price, and local kids will have a hand in building it.
Really get them involved and let the ACAD class draw it up and do the blue print.

just another thought....we are making our own run but for a coop we bought a little tikes house off of CL. If you do a search on here you will see lots of threads...I didn't feel up to tackling a coop (esp with girls in the brooder!) but the little tikes house is not as much work to modify/build, and even a small one would be plenty of room for two.
