Newbie needing help

Sounds like your doing a great job

They do sleep a lot at first but in a couple days you will see them all running around and having fun

Did you put them on Paper towel? It's good to put them on that for a week and then it's safe to switch them to pine shavings. Congrats on your new babies and don't worry...you did good! Can't wait to see pics!
I've never added marbles or anything and never lost one yet. I have even had Serama and they did great. But if your worried I would add some marbles just to be safe

I had posted this on your duplicate thread before I saw this one:

Yes, you should give them water definitely. They will drink if they get thirsty and will die without a water supply.
You should put in a chick waterer (a storebought one is best) that they can drink out of all the time. They don't have any sort of scheduled drinking times, so they should be able to drink whenever they like.

Make sure that it is not deep enough for them to drown in. If you can't get ahold of a chick waterer then you could try lids -- peanut butter lids are great, also Mason jar lids, etc. Too shallow and they can't drink and/or will spill it, too deep and they could drown.

Hamster water bottles are great, just make sure they know how to use them. Watch to see that each chick has figured it out. I had one get dehydrated cause I wasn't watching close enough.
