newbie - no clue. what breed?

Puff is a silkie. I am going to guess your feather legged chicks are cochin or cochin mixes. I am sure someone more familiar with these breeds will chime in soon.

Here are my thoughts...
Winnie - buff Brahma cockerel
Piper - really need a better pic (a straight level side on shot would be best) so we can better see the stance, wing carriage, and legs. Some possibilities would be Dutch, OEG, or Japanese but there are others too
Ernie - light Brahma cockerel
Suey - blue Cochin (can't make a guess on the gender - need a closer pic of the head)
Sunny D - golden neck D'Uccle cockerel
Puff - can't tell a whole lot about gender yet

you guys are awesome - i went out and took some more pics but not sure how to upload them. this should be a picture of our older chicken, Evelyn...what breed is she?

ok that worked. so now here are the others. Ernie and Willie turned out to be roos, so we gave them away.
Here is my other roo, Sunny D

Suey

Puff - please tell me she is a pullet!

Piper

Sunny D is a stunning roo.

Suey looks to be a pullet.

Puff looks to be a cockerel based on that comb development.

So, revamping what I said earlier... I think Piper might be a Minorca pullet. She doesn't seem to have the right wing carriage and stance for the others I mentioned.

Oh, and Evelyn looks like a game hen of some sort. I'm not familiar with the standard size and am just becoming familiar with the Old English Game bantams. They come in soooo many colors.

oh...wah!! well if Puff and Sunny get along, I'll keep them both. I love how the silkies look! Thanks a bunch for your input!!
