I have been reading and learning via Backyard Chickens for a few years, but only just now diving in with my own membership. Im in Northern California and currently have a flock of about 35 layers and a couple times a year raise meat chickens (currently just enough to feed our family). I am looking forward to expanding our production, and have a huge love for heritage breeds. I'm also quite passionate about our recent chicken venture, since it was spurred in order to feed my daughter who has food allergies and health complications.
At the moment I am looking for some hatching eggs from quality stock. And hoping to find leads here in the group!
