Hello,

My chicks are 4 weeks and I have been feeding the medicated feed from our local tractor supply store and I am wanting to switch them to organic feed. After reading on this forum it seems that NCO is highly recommended. I have been looking online at NCO and was wondering if the "non corn" option is beneficial or not? TIA

Welcome to our community of chicken loving peeps :D

I find helpful to only use corn in the winter when it is cold and they need the extra fat and calories. but lots of people use corn year round

When I got mine I had them on the medicated, then after about 6 weeks they were on starter crumble. Now at 6 months I’m feeding layer pellets and crack corn with oyster strong.
