Newbie question about viable eggs

This one the darkest is at the top (yolk?) and you can see the side saddle air bag in the middle area. When it is turned sideways the yolk doesn't move around, it just moves in place (not on it's own though).

Do you see any veins forming?

Not sure. Tonight is 4 days so I will check then. I figure the first photo should show some veining by tonight.

When you candle, try it from the big end. Not the narrow.

Wahoo!!! My 9 yr old son and I candled tonight at Day 4 and could see clear development in 10 eggs. The other eight are olive colored eggs or darker so we'll wait and see what's there at Day 7 before culling.

Is it okay if an embryo and it's yolk are free floating? If I turn the egg either way, the yolk floats to the top and if on the egg's side, it floats to the top there.
