Last week some dogs ate most of my flock. The dogs came inside my barn for the kill. I have 8 teenage hens still alive (23 were lost).
They are still spooked from the massacre. I've given them all access to the baby brooder since the attack (warm, safe, secure) and spoiled them rotten with treats and baby talk but now they won't stay outside for long and will no longer will come to my whistles. Anything else I can do to get their confidence back?
