I have a chicken coop with about 25 chickens in it. My questions are
Can ducks live with the chickens in there coop?
Do ducks lay just about every day?
Can i possibly dig a hole in my pen area and install a plastic landscape tub for water for the ducks?
Thank you

You can keep ducks and chickens in the same coop, as long as you don't put water or feed in with them, because ducks are messy by nature and will have food and water splashed out all over the bedding and that can cause mold which is deadly for both. It would be better to have the coop separated down the middle with one on one side and one on the other or separate housing all together. even sharing an outside pen will be muddy and messy for the chickens. and alot of us have plastic tubs, pools for our ducks. Some ducks lay all year round some are seasonal, depends on breed. but all will take time out from laying to molt. I hope I answered your questions, and I have both chickens and ducks and a goose, they all live together very well, they just don't share sleepingg quarters.
