Hi Everyone,

I inherited some chicks back in october from my father in law. So i am still very new to all this.

But joined to get some help and info a long the way :)

Hi Dee and welcome from the North East of England. There are one or two UK threads on here where you might find people nearer to you but to be honest the help and advice available almost worldwide but particularly from The States and Australia is exceptionally good, so don't be put off if you don't find anyone local.

I assume when you say "inherited" that condolences are appropriate in respect of your father in law.

It's great that you were able to take over the care of his chooks though. How old are they and what breeds do you have? Are you getting eggs yet?

I look forward to hearing more about them soon.....one of the great things about this forum is that we can share our enthusiasm for chickens without boring the pants off our nearest and dearest.... although I do still try!!!
