Welcome to the coop! I use the Forums and Articles tabs at the top of the page to do research. You can get lost for hours. It's nice to know you are minutes away from getting help with questions and emergencies! I always check in the "What's New" section as well at the top of this page. This way I can read how I may have a similar question or help give some advice.

Hello Everyone!
New to chickens and BYC. I live in NC and getting my first chicks ever. Really excited about all of this. Hope you will excuse any silly questions that might came from me. Brand new at all of this but willing to learn so I can raise a healthy and happy flock!

Thank you! Well, I did it last night....placed an order thru Cackle Hatchery!!! My chicks will hatch on May 31 with delivery within 3 days afterwards!!! So excited! Now for the waiting game!
