Maybe ask on the Aussie thread. If certain breeds are locally available, it's safe to assume that they can cope with the heat fairly well.

Thank you. We have a large dog and when I noticed a hen in the yard, I honestly thought she would be attacked by the dog. The dog ignores her (apart from trying to stick her nose in the hens butt from time to time) The chicken to my surprise will eat out of the dog bowl while the dog watches. This bird is always hungry!

The one dog was amused by the chicken. Perhaps 2 dogs would have egged each other on to try and kill it. Glad your dog likes to share.
