newbie to chickens -Need general information on rearing chickens from.

Thanks for all the really useful responses. Yes we have a rooster - we didn't know until a few weeks ago as we only wanted laying hens....well I think I will move her and the eggs into a seperate place where she can be alone and look after them. How long does it take to hatch? And do I have to feed baby chics other stuff that is for chicks ? I heard someone say they have to be kept warm so do I have to bring hen and chic/s inside or will she keep them warm?
