These are my first chicks, I have 10. They are just over 2 weeks. 2 are Danish Brown Leghorns. There is one Danish Brown whose feathers are just not right. I say this based on all of the others, especially the other DBL. It started with noticing her wings being droopy, as her feathers started coming in. Now one of her wings is still droopy, but my big concern is that she seems to have only half of her wing feathers and she is behind all the others in overall feather development. The feathers that are coming in look kind of scraggly. You can really see the shafts, although maybe this is because she doesn't have the layers. Other than this she is keeping up in growth, eating, drinking, pooping and is not getting picked on by the others. I haven't seen anything like this in any post. Any ideas?? I haven't figured out how to get pictures on, maybe i'll have time to work on that today.

I hope that doesn't mean that Nana, named for a danish vegetarian goddess, is a rooster.

How old is he now that hes getting his feathers?
I am mostly concerned that it might be a deficiency or sign of a larger problem that i should treat. I also don't think she would survive in our climate if her feathers don't grow in fully.
