Newbie with questions!

I have always been interested in raising chickens but have not been in an area where I could. That changed in Feb when we moved. I currently have 10 chickens (pullets and some cockerels I am sure). 7 silkies, two “Ameraucanas”, a light Brahma and an ISA brown.

Welcome to BYC. This is a great forum to read, learn and ask many questions. You can also go to the search box and find all kinds of previous answers if you wish. Remember we like pictures. Even if its chicken poop! lol, no, really!

Thank you for the welcome everyone...now I wish as many people would look at my post about my chicken concern as they do this welcome lol! Maybe I posted at a bad time. Happy chickening!

I am a member just like you but, I'm sorry you feel no one answered your chicken concern in a timely fashion. As a friendly reminder, it is very important that you post your concern in the correct section. The other helpful thing to do is...take pictures of your concern. Pictures say a thousand words.
Read about the best way to get everyone attention to your post.
You can always go to the Search tab and put your concern in there and more than likely, someone has the same issue. I use this feature as a quick reference.
Most importantly remember, we are all just chicken people trying to help one another on our personal down time.
Therefore, I (someone) can only answer your concern if they are on their computer and on the BYC site. Plus, someone needs to know how to help you before they can respond. Hopefully, this explanation will assist you and someday, you will be able to respond to others in need as you continue to learn about your chickens.

Thank you, I did double check about my posting and I did have pictures and videos...my guess was it was the timing of my post as it got “pushed” from the top (1 am is not the best timing lol).
