I can't give any advice as to mixing batam and standard but, as you can see from my signature line, I have 5 pullets of 1 each of 5 different breeds. They all get along great and seem to be quite happy with each other. You can see their pics on my BYC page. Oh and they came as day olds from My Pet Chicken.
At night they roost 3 on the highest roost and 2 down just a little. It is never the same mix either. I think they are all friends with each other.
