Thank you! I am on this site a few times a week. Most currently our flock had a hawk attack. Thankfully we only had one injury, but we are all paranoid now, even the chickens. They will only come out of their house when we are there, and go right back in. The few fruit trees we have planted in their yard are not enough cover. Now im looking for ideas to give them shelter from flying predators, that dont look too tacky. My husband likes a "clean" looking yard.

You're welcome. That's a tough challenge as your husband would probably consider a canopy of poultry netting spread over the yard to be tacky. Unless you keep your birds in an enclosed run, you are going to lose some of them to predators and you will have to decide whether or not the losses are acceptable.

I now realize this. Not sure what were going to do after our loss yesterday, but I have to do something. Today they are staying in the coop.
