Newbie

[Belle Farms]

Hi there so I'm a "newbie". My name is Laura and I am a backyard chicken, hog, goat, steer farmer on the central coast in California. I got into backyard farming because of my 3 children. They started in 4H and now 2 are in FFA. I have learned a lot from their different projects. I'm looking into raising meat birds so that I can feed my family and friends organic home grown chicken and also get a tax write off for owning a small business. I'm just starting so any tips are welcome and encouraged
