Hello all!! I'm HVchickens and I was thrust into this when my children brought home chickens from school. But I have so enjoyed these silly little birds. Now I'm just worried if they're Roos or hens.

Welcome, welcome!!

They're awfully cute! How old are they? Those little white ones are looking rather rooster-ish with those red combs and wattles.

Welcome!

Sorry, I also agree that the two white ones are looking like cockerels and depending on the age, I would not be surprised if the third one turns out to be a rooster. Having said that, please do not make any decisions until you know for certain, I get it wrong with my own sometimes

I hope you enjoy BYC. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun. Unlike non chicken loving friends, family and colleagues, BYC’ers never tire of stories or pictures that feature our feathered and non feathered friends

Welcome and what a pretty little brown and white. I agree with some people, wait until they are a little older to be 100% what they are. Once they start crowing or laying eggs. If you have all roo's you might want to rehome 2 and keep your favorite as they are prone to fighting with each other unless each roo can stake a claim over a small flock of ladies and get plenty of space. If you have a roo and two hens you should be fine. Just don't let the ladies sneak eggs out somewhere and hatch them behind your back. xD Our hen Tiki was known for that even without the roo's. We called her the Easter hen.
