I found three feral chickens, one day old.
Put them in a box.
Went down to the tractor store to get supplies. They told me I had to get all these things to keep them alive. I live in the rainforest.
But I just got the medicated feed & water containers.
I live off grid I'm not going to put on a lamp.
So that night I put the chickens next to my
85 lbs yellow Labrador Retriever. Inside on her bed.
They slept their cozy and warm for 12 hours straight.
Now a week old.
But since I caught them feral and they were outside do I need to give them some other kind of medication also?

That is the most inventive way to keep chicks warm that I have ever heard of.
