Hey all! So I'm a newbie here among all you backyard flockers! I hope that I can learn as much as I can as well as help as many as I can with what info and experience I do have!

New! Got our first 6 about 3 months ago
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

(3) What breeds do you have?
2 Cornish Rock, 3 ISA Browns, 1 Salmon Faverolle and 4 California Whites
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Googled a question about our Cornish and came upon a thread on here!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Gardening, being a wife to a handsome husband, a mom to two beautiful girls and two goofy pitbulls, working full time, trying to keep my sanity, promising that tonight will be the night that I fold the laundry.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have two daughters, Annabelle and Fiona, ages 4.5 and 1 respectively. They are absolutely the light of our lives and are forever smiling and laughing! We have two dopey pitbulls names Atlas and Artemis who help care for us and the girls, guard our flock, and remind us that no matter how bad the day might be - we are loved! We love gardening and landscaping as well as building things for our family (chicken run, cat shelter, etc.). Hiking and being outdoors is what makes us happiest of all!!
