(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens
It's a really long story if anyone is willing to listen but I got them 1 year ago and i am new to chickens so any tips are welcome!

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 7
(3) What breeds do you have?
Idk it's a long story
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
I found it a long time ago but recently decided to join
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Yoga, dance, binge eating, binge watching shows and of course my chickens if that counts

Welcome to the BYC! Hope you find everything you need. If not simply ask and any one of us or most likely a bunch of us will assist any way we can! If you would like us to help with what type or breeds you have you can post pics and we will try to help.

Greetings and welcome to BYC! So glad you joined us. There's a wealth of info, knowledge and experience shared in the multitude of threads. Browse around and see what interesting stuff you can find. By all means post away when the desire strikes you, especially if you have questions (provide as much detail/info as possible and pictures truly help)... With all the great folks here, generally someone will respond in no time at all. Please make yourself at home!

Oh, if you haven't done so already, PLEASE put at least your general location in your profile. It could be very important if/when you ask for or offer help or advice. You know, climate issues and such. Old folks like me :old will never remember from this thread. To add it, mouse hover over Account top right and a drop down will appear. Click on Personal Details and scan down. You'll see the spot for Location. Then go to the bottom and save changes. Thanks! Hope you enjoy the site!

Thanks lol I was coming home and we were building a dog house and I was looking for my dog who kept growling at the wood and I kept telling him to stop and he started going crazy so I thought it was probably one of his toys but omg it was a hen hidden under a pile of woods and she had 14 eggs and I was so shocked nobody in my area has chickens and I had no idea where she came from so my brother built a little fence around her to keep predators away and in about 2 weeks or so the baby chicks hatched and I've been in love with them since and it's been quite the journey learning about them and how to care for them but I wouldn't have it any other way what about you do you have chickens and I'm guessing ducks?
