Hey all!
I’m fairly new to chickens so I’m here to learn more! We got our first 4 for my daughters birthday last year. We were happy and content with the 4, 2 barred rocks and 2 golden laced Wyandotte’s (one was a roo) until the roo was killed by a dog a few months ago, they used to free range during the day and for put up at night. The 3 hens are a little crazy without him.
We got some new babies from tractor supply, a farm store, hoping one would be a roo. They’re all light Brahmas who are about 5 weeks old.
Anyways, my boyfriend and I are currently rebuilding a bigger coop and run. I’m up to learn new tips and tricks for fun/safety because I’ve become a crazy chicken mom
