Hello
My name is Christine and I am a complete novice. 10 days ago I was 100% successful with hatching 9 out of 9 silkie eggs which was awesome and such an experience. My silkies are well comfortable with their brooder quarters. I have 6 black, and 1that I believe is called a partridge silkie, 1 blue, and 1 that is silvery with black marks all over. I adore them and know where the expression mother hen comes from. I have joined this forum as I would like contact with other chicken owners, perhaps local and also to learn all I need to keep my silkies happy and as safe as possible.
