Hi thanks for adding me. We are new to chickens this year but I grew up with them as a kid. We have 8 17wk olds, 3 10wk olds and hopefully 3 hatching in the next three days. We have Plymouth Rock, Pekin, Easter Eggers, Lakenvelder, Barnevelder, black Australorp, silky, Vorwerks and splash Australorp. Blown leghorn and red ankona in the incubator
. We got our first egg this morning unfortunately laid from the top roost so no breakfast for me
. Hope they sort out the nest box before the next one comes. I found backyard chicken through searching for info. Hoping to learn from everyone’s experience.
