I just brought my chickens home today. 16 weeks old 4 of them. They wont eat or drink and stay in corner of the coop. All of them together. Is this norm?

They will huddle together for warmth and safety, babies are supposed to be afraid of everything.

16 weeks is rather mature, just give them some alone time and be sure they are safe from predators (like dogs, cats and young children).

Thanks. I was hoping this was normal. Predators shouldn't be a problem

You are in the right place, welcome, lots of experience from BYC! Think about what they have just gone through, to them this new coop is like us being beamed to Mars! Make sure they have food and water, and let them settle in. It take most of two weeks for them to settle in and feel like this place is home. Just for the fun what kind of chickens did you get?

Hybrid red sex links. Everyone hit him hard during this pandemic that's all he had. You know much about them?
