Ok burning question that you might have answered lots of times, so here it goes. Coop perches, what size diameter for grown barred rocks? square? round? wood? rope-wrapped? flat?
Wood is best for traction and a non-conductive material. About 1.5-2.5" either flat with corners rounded off or round is good. I use ripped in half/rounded off 2x4s in the coop and natural branches in the run.

I use 2"x2"x8' furring strips from Lowe's in all my coops and pens. They are currently $3.48 each.
If you buy them, give them a couple of swipes with sandpaper on all sides to eliminate burrs and splinters.
