Welcome to BYC. I'm so sorry for your stress. I too hate hearing the younger ones whine. ( I'm a helicopter chicken lady)
It isn't much consolation, but flocks generally work it out.

I'm in Woodstock, Ga. I have 2 Black sexlink(Penny and Betsy) 1 light brahma (Polly)and 1 buff Orrington(Heidi). The black chickens are 8 months and other 2 i just bought are 16 weeks. I wanted fresh eggs to eat and share and wanted pet chickens.
I have a coop with a run. I found your group as I was searching how to incorporate new chickens. It is so unnerving to hear baby cry out as older ones peck it. The first day and night went great. Second day, Penny is pecking the white one mostly, and she blocks the coop area so they can't get inside. Last night I bedded the babies down in a guenia pig cage so they'd be warm and safe from older chickens. View attachment 3297322View attachment 3297323
