Good afternoon!! I just got my first chicks this week at tractor supply, first we got six hens, then I got six bantams, they were mixed, not sure of the sex. We lost one bantam already, it was really small, so I don't think it was anything I did. I've got them seperated for now, but I'm wondering how to tell how old they are?

Hello and welcome to BYC! If you could post some pictures someone could probably give you a good idea how old they are by how much feathering is going on, wings, etc.

If you can post pics, folks on here would be able to tell you better by seeing them. Are they fuzzy, how tall, some feathering?

Hi,

My chicks are 1 week today and their tail feathers are just starting to grow longer than their "fluff"

Not sure if that helps or not.
