We are Roger and Rosie.
Roger lived on farms with chickens growing up and Rosie lived on the edge of town but spent a lot of time with grandparents in country. So we're not completlely new to chickens, but it has been quite some time. We will get our chicks on Wednesday April 07. We are starting out with 25 Barred Rocks. We ordered 25 straight run from our local elevator. We found BYC during research into raising from chicks. About the only hobby that we have is watching the animals around our place. We have 17 acres in the middle of the woods. It's 1/2 mile out to the dirt road, we love our solitude. Roger is retired from the military. We live in Lake, Mi.
