I am a new member in Kentucky, living on the Ohio River with the Little Sisters of the Peaceful Nest -- a small backyard flock of 4 hens. The sisters began laying eggs the week before Christmas, so my family enjoyed delicious eggnogg made from the sisters' first eggs. I have 2 Golden Comets, 1 Rhode Island Red, and a Black Star. I am looking to add 2 or 3 hens to the flock.
