welcome! I'm in DFW area of Texas and grew up summers on my grandfather's farm with chickens and now have 6. Their coop is the front part of our storage building in old rabbit cages. Each hen has her own 'apartment' and a branch added to the 'house' for a roost. They all lay their eggs in their own house which makes it nice cause I can tell who to thank!
