Hi to all from Australia,
Yes I am another newbie pleased to have joined the community of chook lovers. I found this website after I took possession of six chickens,
1Leghorn, 1 Isa Brown, 1 Australope and two silkies and a bantam two months ago. Luckily all doing well at the moment. I have always wanted to have backyard chickens and have recently moved to a place that has a lovely big back yard. I was worried that my two cats would prove to be a problem but well fed cats just sleep all day and are locked up at night so no problems there. Two of the big ones chooks are laying every day and my little black bantam is delivering every other day so I am happy Any way just wanted to say hi and pleased to be here
Cheers
