Well here it goes:
I am into chickens now because my daughter is now in 4H, and to be honest I am really concerned about what may be in store bought eggs. We currently have 2 RIR hens and are looking to get into blue eggs as this is my daughter's favorite color. We live in a very rural area of WV on land once owned by my wifes great great grandfather and has been in the family since. We have about 7 1/2 acres of what was once one their farms. We have 3 pygmy goats a cat and a dog. We are going to fence the hay field in, it takes too much begging to have cut and baled each year, and add a steer and maybe a horse.
