Howdy all, found BYC while looking for info, and what a great place this is! Well here is my deal, I have a little non working ranch in Southern Colorado. We are looking at getting into raising semi-free range chickens and rabbits.
Problem #1, I know very little about the ins and outs of chickens. #2, The weather extremes here, it can get 115* in the summer, and winter nights can get -20* and can get hit by hail and lighting year round, and as if that was not bad enough, hardly any rain, we average about 10"-14" a year.
So, I will be asking a lot of stupid questions, hope you will help guide me thru the process.
