I stumbled across this forum in my search for info on starting to raise some quail. I have enjoyed looking at all the great pictures ya'll have posted. But I am looking for a book recomendation. I have read some books on raising chickens but I am looking for some recomended books on raising quail, just quail. Any sugestions?

There's not much in the way of books on raising just quail. But keep an eye on Amazon.com and Ebay. There is a book I got from Amazon a while back that's pretty good called Quail, Their Breeding and Management by G.E.S. Robbins. I think they have new and used copies listed there now but they're kinda pricey. I think you'll find what you need to know on raising quail right here on the forum!

I saw that book but the pickings are slim on this topic. I wanted to get something to read on vacation. But your probably right on the forum being the best resource.

Thx Netdoor, I'll check it out. I did find the Robbins book for $17 including SH through Barnes and Noble, so I ordered it!
