Salmon faverolles are beautiful, docile birds - they also come in other colors like mahogany etc. and in large fowl and bantam size. Sometimes they are the victims of bullying, so you may want to keep an eye out when they are introduced to other breeds.

Yayyy my Faveralle has started laying again. Two in two days. Just waiting on the the two younger bantoms to start laying 6mnths and 5 mnths ....am i being impatient?

Congrats on the eggs!

Most breeds start to lay sometime between 5 and 6 months and some can even hold off til 7 months. So all you can do is wait.

My Wyandotte is very timid and yet quite a bully to my Faveralle and Buff Orpington. She (or is it a he??) wont let me near her and constantly has stand offs. Could she be a he?

I am not seeing any roosters here. Just because she is timid with you, doesn't mean she is shy with the others. If she becomes a problem being too aggressive, you may need to occasionally cage her or use pinless peepers on her.

I've occasionally had a Wyandotte hen that was aggressive, & orpingtons & faverolles are both gentle breeds, so it's not surprising that she would bully them.
