I am just getting into this. I am learning as I go. I have a small 3x5 prefab tractor coop. I want to get a couple of bantams and am open to suggestions.

Hello!
400

Welcome to BYC and the coop! There's a lot of great peeps here! Feel free to ask lots of questions. But most of all, make yourself at home. I'm so glad you decided to join the BYC family. I look forward to seeing you around BYC. :frow

Is 3 x 5 the entire length, width of your tractor - coop part + run part? That seems awfully small even for just 2 bantams. I really need to see the visual - any photos.

There is also a difference in banties, seramas are about the tiniest, silkies are larger, etc.

Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! I too agree 3 x 5 sounds a little small if it's all combined. As drumstick said a pic would be great. Here is the housing section of the learning centre for you in this link ~ https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/housing-and-feeding-your-chickens
Lots of great articles to help you get started with some ideas for your 2 banties.

Wishing you the very best of luck getting started with your chicken adventures. Enjoy BYC and all the chicken chat :frow
