The "plan" was to wait until Day 7, but I peeked at a couple eggs today (Day 4) and saw nothing in one, but something moving and a vein in another!! w00 h00!

They've hatched!!

We started with nine eggs and had one blood ring on our first candling. The eight remaining all hatched yesterday and the day before, Yay!

I just realized my set date is wrong, its actually the 15th. Now to the great news

lol sorry I can't tell you! Need someone with more experience than me. Try the breeds page. the people on there know so much about the different looks as babies!​

WOOHOOO! They are so sweet trying to stand and wobble around and peep!

I candled late last night (day 6 almost 7) and out of 18 eggs, I saw veining and a few wigglies in 15 of the eggs. The other three I marked with ? because they didn't look fertile. I'll candle these three again on day 10 and if I don't see any veins, I'll probably chuck them...maybe...or not.

No bloodrings!
