I originally set 19, 1 didn't develop, 3 didn't hatch & lost 2 that tried really hard to hatch

Ended up with 13 healthy chicks!

I do have some pics! They're from a mixed flock of Buff Orp, Cuckoo Maran, Welsummer, RIR & Black Austrolorp. They're in with some baby Cochins & Gold Comets.

Of my 40 eggs 12 were not fertile 2 died while hatching and I have 9 healthy chicks probably going to have to give up on the rest its been 23 days since i started

I'ts me, Kristy in WA, from the other thread. I've been sick, but I'm better now. We're on day 13 now, and will candle tomorrow. This is a great idea, but what is a 6 month membership to BYC? What is it that the winner actually gets? Just curious. It would be nice to see for the 100% hatches how many eggs they had set. Wouldn't a 7 egg hatch be a lot easier to get 100% say, than a 35 egg hatch? This will be fun to see how everyone does! Kristy

We are using a percentage to compare to hopefully make things easier to compare. Culled eggs do not count into the percentage total. Waiting to hear your results in about 9 days, right?
