It might be a good idea to round the numbers up or down, rather than using something like 72.3 or the like. Then you just have whole numbers to deal with.

I am hatching for the first time under two broody hens. They went broody at the same time! So I put five eggs under each, 10 in all.

They will either be white silkies, golden sebrights, or crosses of the two.

We have our first chick hatch out this morning. Two more eggs show crack marks and are rocking. Now if the rest will follow suit that will be great.

Hi, Im a newbie hatcher also. I just saw this! I am on Day 16 with mine. I have silkie eggs. Out of 22 I had to take out 7 already because they were infertile. I think I have a couple blood rings, but its hard to tell because the eggs seem to have a large dark spot. I left those ones in there. So now I have 15 in there.

I have a request. Along with the percent success hatch in the results, is it possible to list out of how many (fertile) eggs?
I've got 42 eggs in the incubator, uncandled, and it would be helpful when comparing hatch success rates to know what numbers others were working with. For example 100% success rate out of 42 eggs would be wild to know. 100% out of six eggs is more imaginable, and I find myself thinking that the 100% people were probably working with smaller numbers.
