and very cute picture, you might want to give them a roost to perch on, mine always loved having a roost at that age.

Our 5 R.I.Reds are little busy bodies that's for sure! We also picked up 5 silkies. They were housed together but earlier today we split them up so they would have more room, so the Reds are injoying their perch!

Either we have some fiesty females or some rowdy roosters because they only thing they have done since the addition of the perch is to play 'King/Queen of the Perch'. Constantly knocking each other off which has become the main entertainment of the night. Plenty of room for all 5 but they aren't seeing it that way.

Still learning but I must admit I've found the motherload of the chicken world at BYC!
