Just got these two today. A big ole' Emden gander and a rather attractive looking mixed breed goose. Also got two ISA pullets. All healthy and pretty birds. Traded for two pairs of turkeys. I was very pleased to see who I was trading with: a young boy and his dad. Always warms me inside to see young people engaged in this very rewarding hobby and on top of that, one that takes pride in his bird's appearance and health.

Thanks! We've still got some social work to do between me and them, but they seem curious and personable enough to make good progress. :)

Just spend a lot of time with them, sit out there in the chair or on the ground, they'll get used to you very quickly!

@LRH97 Beautiful Geese, Congrats!!

UPDATE:

Just made the transition into the other pen where these two (haven't come up with their names yet) met Elvis and Reba, my two Super Africans, face to face for the first time without a fence in between them. I was a little nervous at first, but the intro went flawlessly. They're already sleeping next to each other in their house. Looks like they'll have an awesome time harassing the chickens and dogs together!
