My wife and I started last yard and out of 3 only I survived< added 11this yard, our neighbors Easter Egger is the lone survivor of Coydog attacks, we have a Salmon Favereau, Speckled Sussex, a Gold lace Wyandotte, a Plain Brahma, Barneveld, and 3 silky hens, one silky Rooster. Bought a coop, added a run, learning a lot, no one has died, everyday I come home from work I go right to them and say hi, each by name. I added a couple photos my wife artist, I like her creativity with the Pecking order sign. Jake and Sage

G’Day from down under Jake & Sage :frow Welcome!

I am sorry to read of your initial losses and wish you all the best for the future.

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

You might want to also pop in and say hello on your local thread: Find Your State Thread

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock or coop, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out ;)
