[Rachel and Matts chickens]

Hello, thanks for letting us join the community. We are Matt and Rachel, who live in the city of Victoria BC with 4 lovely hens. Building the chicken coop was a COVID project and we were very lucky to have a cousin with a hobby farm who decided to incubate a few eggs this past spring. Our chickens are a mix of Heritage breeds. We have one of my cousins older hens as our mother hen. She’s the only one laying eggs so far. We are eagerly awaiting for the other three to lay.
