Newbies

Our coop is 32sqft (4 x 8) at 6ft tall. The attached run is 96sqft (8x12) at 8ft tall.
Our ‘tractors’ are 32sqft (4x8) and 12sqft (3x4) both at 2ft tall. During the transition, Claire-Wyandotte will be in the smaller tractor, then Agnes/Beatrice/Dorothy -Barred Rocks will be in the larger tractor. How far should the quarantine distance be between the tractors?

Chickens are flock birds, and thrive in flocks of 3-4 or higher!

How far should the quarantine distance be between the tractors?
Quarantine distance is generally 500 ft with the new birds kept downwind from the old birds.
Original birds are cared for first followed by the new birds. That way anything that may be infecting the new birds aren't transported to the original birds.
Respiratory illnesses can travel quite far.
