We had a first time hen hatch a brood of 11 chicks on Monday and they all seemed healthy, this morning I went check on them and one of the chicks was on the ground not moving so I took it in and gave it electrolyte/ antibiotics in its water, a couple hours later I crushed some started crumbles with the water and syringe feed the chick.... It's very weak and not opening it's eyes, it seem to be have convulsions, it's legs stretch out for a minute then goes limp, it seems to gasp for air and I can hear a faint wheezing when it breaths... I've had chicks do this before and they always die, is there anything I can do for the poor thing and any idea what's wrong? :(

I'm so sorry! Sometimes there isn't a thing that can be done for them, no matter how much we wish otherwise and I really think you did all you could do. Again, I am very, very sorry.
