She is exactly one day old. Hatched a few hours after pipping on day 20, so extremely fast. I found a mess with mama and siblings feasting on some yolk and her stringy cord. I’ve put iodine on it plus bandage but this morning it looks like maybe more is out but it looks like it’s trying to dry. I’m assuming she is pushing it out. I called the vet and he thinks she’s too tiny to tie it off and said separate her which I really didn’t want to do bc she really responds to her mom. I have a bandage on it to prevent picking. Is there anything else I can try? I would like to help her survive as she seems like a fighter.
