My silkie egg just hatched and she looked like she had a clump of flesh near her bottom, after a closer look I think it could be a prolapsed cloaca. This chick is the first chick I've ever hatched, I've never heard of this issue before and I'm not entirely sure what to do about it. For now I'll just keep her in the incubator and let her be. Will it reabsorb or am I going to have to push it back in and any advice on how to push it in?

Can you post some photos?
It might be prolapse or it could be that the chick still needs to absorb the yolk sac, could be an unhealed navel too.
Leaving it in the incubator is a good idea until you determine if there is cause for concern.

The silkie is ok now, it's been absorbed but the second egg has the same problem but worse, there's quite a bit of yolk hanging out of him. He's sleeping beside the silkie right now and I hope it heals like the silkie did. I'm not sure if I can get a good picture right now but there was a clump of yolk and a little ball of flesh by the opening. The opening wasn't that large, just a small hole near his butt.

Glad the one is doing o.k. now.
The other one, sometimes all you can do is wait it out and see what happens.

It's the next day now and both of the chicks are doing fine. There's no sign of yolk on their stomachs. The third chick also has the same yolk problem as the other two. Does my rooster or chickens have bad genetics or is it something to do with an error in the incubation process that's causing them to not develop as quickly? They didn't start hatching till the 23 day.
