newborn chicks. do they need grit?

soo my eggs are hatching. right now i have one chick that hatched sometime during the night last night.. i got some chick starter feed. do they need grit when their this young?

also. do i need to so anything with the starter feed? like wet it or anything?.. gahh im so clueless

No, they only need grit when their fed any thing other then their chick feed, like treats.

No, they just need the food and water no need to wet their feed.​

I agree with the above post. I use medicated Starter/Grower crumbles. The medication is sulfa based and only helps the chicks in developing their immunity to cocci.
